Located 25 miles southwest of Helena, along the headwaters of the Little Blackfoot River south of Elliston and US Highway 12. The 4.4 mile ride into Little Blackfoot Meadows is a fun test price for beginning and intermediate riders. The loop ride through Larabee Gulch offers a tougher challenge for more advanced riders. Either way, the scenery is wild and spectacular, with a good chance of seeing deer, elk, moose, and other wildlife. Side trails explore the ridges rimming the upper meadows.
