The Shining Sea Bikeway, if looked at in terms of terrain and trail features, would be boring. But when looked at as a winding bike path that dips near beaches and marshes while twisting down to Woods Hole, it's fantastic. The elevation change on this ride is minimal and it is unlikely to tax your muscles. What will be taxed are your senses as you see birds, flora, seascapes, and many more stunning examples of New England scenery. Terrain: Paved roads and a well-maintained paved bike path.
