The Lake Arrowhead Dam Loop starts and finishes by the shallow water of Lake Arrowhead. You'll warm up on an unmaintained gravel cut-through road before a bit of pavement sends you around to the dirt again. Once off the tarmac, a secluded ride along the Never-ending Trail begins.
Things soon point up for about a mile, which makes the moderate grade more strenuous than might be expected. After the long climb, one steep difficult downhill is part of the loop. It deserves caution and attention. Trail Surface: Doubletrack, gravel roads, abandoned roads, and paved roads.
