The trails around and about Tower Hill Pond give newer riders and groups with divergent talent a great spot to get the knobbies dirty. Even better, this user-friendly network of gravel service roads and rougher doubletrack is an easy reach from Manchester, New Hampshire's largest city. The loop travels around the Tower Hill Pond perimeter, providing water views from a number of vantagepoints.
There are small hills to negotiate, but shallow grades and generally firm trail surfaces ease the way for the novice. For a greater challenge, explore the more difficult doubletracks that rise away from the pond, or try the extensive network of singletrack nearby at Massabesic Lake. Trail Surface: Gated service roads with loose gravel and puddles.
