Bordered by the asphalt of a major highway and subdivision roads, this former limestone quarry has taken shape as one of Florida's more popular off-road destinations. A combination of single-and double-track makes a series of loops swirling over 15 miles (and expanding on a regular basis) through a forest of hardwoods and pines.
Different trail sections are blazed with yellow (easiest), blue (intermediate), and red (whoa now!). This trail system on 300 acres is part of the Florida Greenways project, an ambitious undertaking to develop a cross-Florida network of off-road biking opportunities akin to the hiker's Florida Trail.
