Just south of the town of Wrentham, about 30 miles southwest of Boston. The forest is located just a mile from I-495 and four miles from I-95. Rolling terrain, with many short, steep climbs and descents. Some trails have loose scrabble and an occasional low sandy area, requiring bike-handling skills, especially on descents. Also, be prepared to be disoriented for brief periods of time, since the trails in this relatively compact area are unmarked and sometimes intricate. The trails are closed on Saturdays during deer-hunting season in the fall-check with the rangers about the dates. Hunting is not allowed on Sundays.
