This ride offers the best of Michigan, wrapped in an awesome 80-mile, mostly singletrack loop. The trail sees little use and sections can be quite brushy, but don’t let that deter you. The rewards on this unique ride are overwhelming, ranging from secluded wilderness lakes to grueling Rattlesnake Hill, the most difficult portion of the ride.
Cyclists looking for a multiple-day ride will find several public campgrounds along the route; those looking for a shorter challenge can tackle any portion as an out-and-back ride. Tread: 2.3 miles of doubletrack, 2.5 miles of dirt road, 75.8 miles of singletrack. (Tread mileage is an estimate.)
