Think of this ride as a selection of pastries at a bakery. You can savor one or devour a baker’s dozen. Connected by paved roads, the ride consists of thirteen different trails for all skill levels in a pretty urban park. It is possible to do a short ride by combining a few loops, or you can complete all the loops by riding the route described here. Tread: 1.7 miles of paved road, 0.2 mile of dirt road, 11.3 miles of singletrack.
The trails, developed from old horse routes, twist repeatedly, maximizing a small area. This trail system is so popular that it is rare not to meet other bikers and hikers. Other activities available in the park include swimming, golf, soccer, a museum, and a planetarium.
