The "Torn Shirt" trail loop is the more technical of the two. I like to ride them all. The scenery is great, like most of the state parks in Michigan.
Great ride with the sun out. Day was cool with a stiff breeze but comfortable. Trail was mostly dry with a few areas of moist ground but no standing water. A few of the low level ponds in the woods still had some ice on them. Saw a total of 5 other riders during our ride making it seem we had the trail to ourselves. Great first ride of the season.
This was the first time on this trail and thought it was great. We stayed on the easier trail but still very challenging in parts. trail was in good shape, you have a number of varying lengths you can ride...and if it were hot when you ride they have a great beach area to swim in when your done!!!
Torn shirt trail is very technical but alos lots of fun. Fairly physically demanding.
Great Trails 2 loops of mountain biking Torn Shirt more technical and a real challange with all the wash outs. and Murray loop is just a fun one.
