Again, the hazards are the highlights: the climbs are tough but are rewarded with a flyer down a ravine resembling a bobsled course with banked turns and all. Woo hoo! Tread: Entire loop is mix of gravel and dirt singletrack.

As of late October, 2001, this trail has changed dramatically. The local mtb club, MORC, has done substantial work in creating new and great singletrack through the woods, and has also cut out areas of extreme erosion. This course now as a great mix of wide open rolling hills and technical singletrack. There is a lot of climbing here, but none of the trails are overly technical, so most anyone should have a blast here. There are also a variety of routes to take depending on the distance desired. Without having exact statistics, I would say that there is from 3-5 miles of trail here. As much of the singletrack is new, riders should get out and help buff out the singletrack. Also, if you like what has been done here, go and give MORC a hand on building more trail. This trail is a fine example of what some creative lobbying and hard work can accomplish.
