Ride from the trailhead past hockey rink and into the woods. Do not ride on the hiking trail. A couple of short, steep climbs greet you almost immediately, then the trail deposits you onto some tight, twisting turns. Try to keep your bar ends and hands from shaving the bark off passing trees. A fun, challenging ride in remote setting within the city and a great place to test your bike handling skills. Tread: Entire loop is mix of gravel and dirt singletrack.

Terrace is a great little trail for all abilities. It is one of the few trails I can think of that I thoroughly enjoy as an expert and would take a first timer out to ride. The majority of the trail consists of twisty, non-technical singletrack through the woods. There are a few good climbs followed by some fast and fun descents. The greatest feature, however, is an optional "expert" loop which occurs near the end of the trail. If someone is much slower than you, they will have a chance to catch up while the faster rider does the expert loop. This is a wonderful trail, mostly hardpack, and a blast for all.
