If you don't have a boat, the best way to enjoy the scenery of this river is from the seat of a bicycle. And one of the best trips for a cyclist is on the parkways that wind along the top of the bluffs in St. Paul and Minneapolis. A visit to the river road on any warm summer day will confirm the affinity that city residents have for the great river. You'll see cyclists, in-line skaters, runners, and walkers should you venture to this scenic watery corridor.

Good easy ride. Shade and sun, on a sunny summer Sunday, there were several people out but it was not crowded.
