Cassville, a quaint Mississippi River town that calls to mind the days of Mark Twain, is accentuated by huge wooded bluffs that rise up from both sides of the river for an isolated, time-forgotten feeling. Although this ride is short, it is challenging. The hill country of southeastern Wisconsin requires strong legs, a strong heart, and multiple gearing to negotiate the many ups and downs. Some argue that a weak mind helps as well. Things to see: Mississippi River, Stonefield Village, Nelson Dewey State Park.
