This ride is part of the Backroads Bikeway system, developed and maintained by the Three Oaks Spokes Bicycle Club. The system has twelve loops, all beginning in Three Oaks and all featuring directional sights along the way. The Spokes has done an incredible job of developing the area for bikers. The bike club also maintains the Bicycle Museum/Information Center, the starting point of all the rides. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. It's open from 9:00am to 5:00pm but closed major holidays and some weekdays. Things to see: Bicycle Museum, Lake Michigan shoreline, railroad roundhouse, town of New Buffalo.

map was not the easiest to follow...we really enjoyed the route, though, took us through some beautiful countryside...we actually found a great map at the Bike museum in Three Oaks...wished we would have started there...we started in Union Pier and went to Three Oaks...
