The access to the trails is very easy. The campsites are all very nice and they are free. The trails are fun especially if you just want get away on a day hike. There are stream crossing but they aren't too bad. There is also a shooting range past the quarry.
I only rated this one in the middle because the stream crossings are nearly impossible to accomplish while still on your bike. The rock is about the size of a fist and loosly packed. If you hit it too fast you do an Endo and if you hit it too slow you totally sink in. Otherwise the trails themselves have promise. There are some very technical downhill sections whith a lot of looooooooose rock so watch yourself. If you aren't in shape you won't enjoy this one.
The trails was great, the hikers friendly. We got to encounter a beaver in her habitt. We got to get real close to a deer grazing. She seemed oblivious to us. We were riding horses and on the target range, the shooters offered to stop shooting for us to pass. We asked them to continue to get our horses used to the noise. We got to meet one of the Rangers (Nancy). What can I say "she was great"
The trails was a small haven close to the hustle and bustle of the city. Very nice
Busiek has great technical riding, and great potential... please be responsible when riding new trails, and try to find something else to do when the trails are wet. Please be considerate to horseback riders and hikers, or we may find ourselves at odds with the people in charge, and nobody wants enemies. Enough preaching! Busiek has a lot of sweet singletrack, and it's as challenging as you want it to be. A great place to explore! See you out there, but bring your own tube!
