This state park offers 12.5 miles of riding on six loop trails over easy terrain. These rides are recommended for beginner and intermediate mountain bikers. All the trails are in good condition, consisting mostly of hard-packed single-track on easy gradients. The best ride is the Spring Brook Trail-it is most like a classic mountain bike ride. The Sinkhole Trail runs a close second. The Grassland Trail, a flat ride through open prairie, is easiest. The High Ridge Trail travels through open country like the Grassland but contains two climbs and a short wooded stretch. In contrast to the High Ridge and Grassland Trails, the Spring Brook Trail leads you through wooded creek bottoms, makes two crossings of Little Bonne Femme Creek, climbs to the hilltop glades, and passes by the Rock Bridge. The Sinkhole Trail winds through the woods past the sinkholes for which it is named. The stream cascading through Rock Bridge still flows over an old mill dam at the southern opening of the Rock Bridge. This trail is located 7 miles south of I-70 in Columbia.
