This is a fun place to kill an afternoon or burn off the day's frustrations with a cool evening ride. Cliff Cave County Park includes both open riverside space and forested land on the bluffs above the Mississippi River. The trail network is all on the relatively flat woodlands on the bluffs.
The system is four to five miles of very nice hard-packed single-track-no one knows exactly how many miles because there are so many trails, and more are always being developed. Since there are no steep, long climbs on any trails in this system, and only a couple of technical sections on the rock bluffs in the northeast part of the park, Cliff Cave is a blast for beginners and experts alike. This trail is located south of St. Louis County.
