Greensfelder County Park and the adjacent Rockwoods Reservation combined form 5,000-acre tract of semiwild public land in western St. Louis County. Oak-hickory forest covers the rocky hills and bluffs in the park. The forest is broken by several open glades, a scenic overlook, and some caves. This trail is located 30 miles southwest of St. Louis.

slightly muddy from the recent rain the unused portions of greensfelder can be quite challenging. Could use a few more riders out there to track things out. The dogwood downhill was quite the treat with all the leaves and hidden rocks. cant wait to go back!

Most of the park is marked Equestrian only. Horses tear up those trails and crap everywhere. When you enter the park from the Allenton exit, the first gravel lot on your right is near the trailhead for the Memorial John DeClue trail. This is a bike only, kickass three-mile loop. I highly advise riding it.
