The Historic Bath Cruise introduces you to North Carolina’s oldest town before directing you through the countryside for a delightful 26.7-mile ride. Except for crossing U.S. Highway 264 and riding along it for a short stretch, you’ll see little traffic as you pedal through the countryside. The route takes you past Goose Creek State Park, which has recreational facilities as well as exhibits, before turning back to Bath.

This is a pleasant little Sunday bike ride that, on a nice day, is worth peddling. Nothing really stands out except for maybe sitting on a park bench on the creek feeding very social ducks. Just a tour through farm country.
