Having ridden many mountain trails out west, I was surprised my home-state had a really nice mtb trail right here. Ft Clinch is actually a very nice 7-mile single-track loop. Lots of hills and technical turns. Don't be stupid and not wear a helmet. Those tree branches will hit you hard! Some muddy sections make traction a gamble on a rainy day. Good mix of slow and fast. Definitely recommend these trails. Great sight-seeing and nice beaches too.

What a great ride. Located on the grounds of Fort Clinch State Park, the scenery is out of this world. The trail was about a 6 mile loop loaded with turns and steep drops. There are plenty of roots to jump and hills to climb, this trail was well worth the trip to Fernandina Beach. Unlike Hanna Park, these trails seemed a little faster than I expected.
