Get ready for a preeminent ride with an easy singletrack warm-up, one big dose of pain on the way up, then nothing but fun for the rest of the ride. This is one of the most enjoyable descents in Bent Creek (if you like it rocky, that is) and certainly the most under-ridden. Seems like most riders don’t want to venture up the road that far. Believe me though, their loss is your gain. Once you get past the bone-breaking entrance climb, Lower Sidehill offers more than 2.5 miles of almost pure descending. It’s sketchy, fast, and unpredictable, just like a good trail should be. Tread: 5.1 miles of tasty singletrack; 2 miles of doubletrack; 1.1 miles of gravel road.

You get all your climbing in first, then enjoy a beautiful descent on single track. Rocky, moderately difficult.
