This is a superb adrenaline run that will slap a grin on your face to last the rest of the day. There are downhills that score about a 9 on the fun factor and sweet, swooping descents, surprisingly smooth, with several 3- to 4- foot-high inside berms. Lots of bunny hopping potential and some huge air potential near the end of IFG.
Advanced riders can crank this entire ride with plenty of time to warm up before hitting the steeps. Intermediates (and even really determined beginners) will find the climbs doable (if painful) and the descents exhilarating and will probably declare this their favorite ride so far. Tread: 9.6 miles of singletrack; 1.8 miles of gravel road. 0.1 mile of gravel doubletrack. Singletrack is extremely buff hard-pack in most places, loose and rocky in a few others.
