NOTE: RIDING ON THE BILTMORE ESTATE IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. This ride takes you out to the cabin site used in the movie Patch Adams, where you get a gorgeous view of the Pisgah National Forest. A quick descent takes you down to the lagoon and a marvelous rear view of the estate. The climb back up through the woods requires some technical work, then easier doubletrack riding out to the overlook and back. Tread: 0.1 miles of singletrack; 2.6 miles of doubletrack; 1.1 miles of gravel road; 0.8 mile of paved road.

This trail is not available for bikes. PERIOD. There are some nice trails behind the bike center but Patch Adams is restricted to horses.
