This is an excellent trail. It’s a blast to ride with enough roots, rocks, jumps, and drops to satisfy the thrasher quotient in just about anyone. Devil’s Drop gives you a choice of three insane descents with other treacherous drops at the Rock Dam and Gravity Cavity. And although novices will, or should, choose to dismount at a few spots, they should take heart knowing that most of the tough moves have bypasses cut. Beech Springs is a shining example of a professionally designed and maintained mountain bike park. Besides the incredible riding, additional features include picnic benches for reviving and reliving the ride, and an information center filled with ads, maps, lost keys, notes for riding partners, waivers, and info sheets. Hats off to Mike Andrews, for having the foresight and the simple good grace to provide us with such a wonderful green playground. Tread: Pure singletrack in all its incarnations: sandy, boggy, hard-pack, loose, rocky, and eroded. Just what you wanted and more.

Over the last fall till this spring, workers have added approx. 3 miles to Beech Springs, mostly singletrack. This trail is now 7 miles long or better, depending on the optional trails you want to take. Not a better trail in this part of the state.. A must ride for all mtn. bikers. For $2.00, you can ride as many times as you wish. Bring a helmit, a friend and sweat off many pounds!

Very fun. A little eroded, challenging but still fun. Many different trails, options off of the main loop. It took me about three hours to do only a third of the trails.

I found this set of trails to be a lot of fun for this area. A good mix of climbs, downhills, and technical sections. There is a gulley playgound with some good drops, a rock garden (try to find the best line), and Devils Drop, an almost vertical 60 foot drop. Overall well worth the $2 charge to ride.
