This ride's general location is 15 miles east of Damascus. Scenery includes dense woods with intermittent views of neighboring peaks. This loop circles Round Top and Double Top, two minor peaks along the top of Iron Mountain, on old Forest Service 84 and returns on new FS 84. You can decide how progress has affected the replacement of the grassy double-track with a hard-packed wider forest road. This route has some pretty good climbs but otherwise should be suitable for a wide range of mountain bikers.
