This ride's general location is in the city of Richmond. Scenery includes hillside trails in a natural upland forest with steep marshy ravines and wildflowers. Riders must stick to the established trails! Intermediate and more advanced mountain bikers should visit this eight-mile loop of steep, technical single-track. The area switches back and loops around to create a maze of single-track running up and down the hillsides adjacent to the swampy bottomland. This trail features challenges like the Doublerock, a very tricky technical descent, and the Buzz, a vertical roller coaster through a deep gully, designed to test and hone advanced bike handling skills of intermediate to expert riders.

It's easy to miss the trail entrance/exit if you're not paying attention, but riding the loop one more time is not a bad thing on this trail. The hills are steep and high, and the forest is thick, making this trail a sure bet for those close to the area who need their daily biking fix. I'm a slow biker, and I finished two loops of the somewhat confusing trail in about an hour. It's not as good as Pocohontas, but it's definitely worth a ride.
