This ride's general location is in the city of Virginia Beach on US 60 between Norfolk and the beachfront section of Virginia Beach. Scenery includes exotic lagoons, cypress trees, hanging Spanish moss, and high sand dunes. First Landing State Park is Virginia's most visited park, and the six-mile out-and-back Cape Henry Trail gets a lot of use because of the park's location and easy accessibility from the resort city of Virginia Beach. This sandy double-track trail is an easy ride as it winds its way through the 2,770-acre national landmark whose features include exotic lagoons, bald cypress, and live oak draped with hanging Spanish moss.

Fun ride. easy trail. I've been riding the trail since I was 7 and I'm 22 now and it's at fun.

Flat double track from Shore Dr (N end) but gets interesting at the south end near the shore. Some hills and turns. The interesting looking trails are off limits to bikes. Good beginner route.

Great trail if you have been out of mt. biking for a while or are a beginner. Lots of great views and scenery, especially at the end when you get to the channel...rest a bit and watch the boats come in and out.
