You'll ride to the small paper mill town of Canton and back on this route. There is one climb over Newfound Gap, but the majority of time you'll spend cruising over rolling hills and through mountain valleys. There are many nice views. The end of the ride takes you through older West Asheville's historic business district. Points of interest: UNCA Botanical Gardens; Champion Paper Mill.

At several points in the directions there are no road signs, so it is unclear if you should turn or not. The "rolling Hills" it describes are more like vertical ascents and descents. It is nearly impossible to go more than 25 miles per hour on the down hill due to the conditions of the roads in some places. This should be considered more of an advanced or expert course. Not recommended for newer cyclists.
