The park is located next to a middle school, and within its boundaries are playing fields, volleyball sandpits, soccer fields, picnic tables, and an amphitheater. But don't let these leisurely amenities fool you. Behind this regional-park façade, through the woods and down the hill from the playing fields lies a vast network of off-road cycling adventure, growing year by year into some of the best off-road riding in Central Virginia. Hills, steep trails, big drops, tough climbs, and fast descents abound in this woodland region and will keep cyclists of all interests and abilities content. Trail Surface: Roots, rocks, climb, and twisty singletrack.

This trail offers everything from fast, tight, and flat singletrack that you can just crank over to rocky, technical climbs that will have your lungs asking for a break. There are plenty of options for loops. The average loop is near 7.5 miles, but you can easily extend that to 12 without overlapping trails to much.
