This ride has a lot of climbing. Before Whitmer you'll pedal up through beautiful high-mountain pastureland. After a descent, you'll climb again rather steeply to a little used stretch of the Allegheny Mountain Trail. Watch closely for the trail. The final descent is a sizzling run down a razor edge-like ridge. Highlights: Laurel tunnels, steep climbs, views, hidden trails, farms, small town of Whitmer
