Readily accessible from the Washington Beltway, L.F. Cosca Regional Park is a deceiving place. Its small size and rather urban setting hide a great network of singletrack. This regional park in Prince George's County has that specific ingredient that makes every ride better - singletrack. The variety of possible routes in this park will undoubtedly keep you busy for a couple of hours.
Things can often deceive you, disappoint you, and leave you feeling shortchanged. Louise F. Cosca Regional Park, just outside the town of Clinton in Prince George’s County, is one such place that will, indeed, deceive you. It will not, however, leave you disappointed. For despite its small size, this park has everything off - road cyclists dream of: deep, wooded surroundings; stream crossings; a beautiful 15-acre lake; quick, rugged singletrack trails; and a variety of off -road possibilities. The trails twist back and forth beneath the tall trees and, in the colorful fall season, can be breathtaking. Continuing around the perimeter of the park, the trails roll more gently back toward the start of the ride, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your wooded surroundings.
