Heading into one of Pisgah’s more remote regions, this is a ride of epic proportions. Allow plenty of time and don’t go unprepared (Read: have plenty of food and hydration). You’ll follow rivers, climb numerous ridges, and cross a number of streams. And don’t expect to see too many others while on the trail. Ride surface is 13.5 miles of single track and 10.9 miles of forest road. The highlights include a swinging bridge, South Mills River, stream crossings, numerous climbs and descents, and a long forest road uphill.
