After a long climb on forest roads you'll find a wide trail up to Butter Gap and the foot of Cedar Rock's cliffs. Check your brake cables because the last 3.5 miles are all downhill. Ride surface is 5.5 miles of single track and 6.3 miles of forest road. Highlights: Spotty views, Cedar Rock, waterfall, and technical sections.

This is another Pisgah classic. The open fields are really cool, the closest thing to meadows we have in pisgah. The bottom part of the single track is the best. Really fast and rocky. Watch out for horse traffic. If you go during hunting season, wear RED or ORANGE. This place is big with hunters, so take warning. Riding in on the neverending road during hunting seasons, it sounds like your in a war zone.
