This is the first trail you come to as you enter the national forest from Brevard on U.S. 276. It climbs quickly up through a fern glade to the ridgeline and then rolls slowly downward along the ridge on an old road bed before dropping suddenly back to the highway. Ride surface is 3.2 miles of single track and 0.9 miles of pavement. Highlights: Log bridges, ridge riding, rhododendron tunnels, log steps, and a steep downhill.
