A very long trip at 73.6 kms, want to cut 6 kms off start at the sunshine village interchange trailhead a few hundred meters off the highway. Only go after a dry spell of no rain or else it will be muddy. The trail is relentlessly rocky and rough but the scenery gets better as you go along. Allenby pass is beautiful when you finally get there. Bring an extra water bottle as there is only a couple places where you can drink. You have to get an early start, it took me 7 and a half hours of riding to get there and back not including a couple snack breaks and sightseeing at the pass.
This is one awesome ride, continual uphill in some of the most awe inspiring scenery around, the trail is a bit tough (don't go if it's muddy) simply because it is so continuous but some excellent single track is to be had and it is downhill all the way back.
