One of the best day's of riding that I've had. Good combination of terrain, nice length and fantastic scenery. I'd recommend riding it counter-clockwise, unless you really like to climb.
Big uphills and screaming downhills on a trail perfect for a kamikaze day at the mountains. you will get flats here so be prepared. Its a great spot for a multiday trip because theres many trails only a few kms away from the campground (expensive... 18 bucks a night to tent!!) a classic alberta ride if there ever was one.i enjoyed it immensely going clockwise, its a non stop downwill the last 20 kms pretty much. for a more technical downhill do it counterclockwise as I remember some sections where you could really fly over some spots when I was struggling amongst huge boulders.
This is an exciting trail that offers a full range of scenery. There are technical sections and the famous hill - it fools you with bends that make you think you are at the top. The final downhill is screaming fun but the rocks are big enough to create flats - two of us did.
