This excursion takes you down a historic corridor in and out of view of busy I-5, whose sea of red taillights competes in autumn with the orange-gold of maple trees, a forest of deeply colored evergreens, and tangles of blackberry bushes.

This trail is a great way to explore Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Lynwood, Mukilteo, and Everett! We did not do the entire trail; we did approximately 6 miles of it as we were only walking. It's an excellent trail for biking and we are planning a bike trip all the way to Everett from Mountlake Terrace.
