Kids' Vacation Activities in Texas
In a state as large as Texas, there can be an overwhelming number of activities. Picking things to do on a family vacation can present a variety of opportunities. Whether your children are more inclined toward outdoor activities, theme parks or museums, there is something for everyone in Texas.

Barton Springs Pool

One of the best summer attractions in Austin, Barton Springs is a massive, spring-fed pool in Zilker Park. Three acres in size, Barton Springs maintains a consistent 68 degrees all year-round. While the pool has been a popular swimming hole for decades, the addition of regulating dams in the early 20th century has made Barton Springs a stable environment for generations of swimmers.
