Where to Go Swimming With Dolphins in San Diego
SeaWorld is the only place to swim with dolphins in San Diego, California. Its Dolphin Interaction program allows visitors to swim and interact with dolphins in the water. The Dolphin Encounter program lets visitors pet, feed and train dolphins without actually being in the water with the animals.

The Dolphin Interaction program costs $160 plus the price of SeaWorld park admission. The program has two sections. The first is a teaching lesson by SeaWorld instructors on the bottlenose dolphin's training and anatomy. The second section is a 20-minute period of interaction in the water with the dolphins. General admission prices to SeaWorld as of 2009 are $65 for guests age 10 and over and $55 for guests ages 3 through 9.
