The Dolphin Interaction program costs $160 plus the price of SeaWorld park admission. The program has two sections. The first is a teaching lesson by SeaWorld instructors on the bottlenose dolphin's training and anatomy. The second section is a 20-minute period of interaction in the water with the dolphins. General admission prices to SeaWorld as of 2009 are $65 for guests age 10 and over and $55 for guests ages 3 through 9.

SeaWorld provides participants with a wetsuit and foot booties. There is also a locker room supplied with toiletries and a hair dyer. Participants must bring a swimsuit and cannot wear any jewelry.
SeaWorld requires participants to be at least 6 years old and parents must sign a waiver of liability for children under 18. All adults must sign a waiver on their own behalf as well. In addition to the minimum age requirement, participants in the Dolphin Interaction program must be at least 44 inches tall, in good health, and comfortable standing chest deep in water.
During the Dolphin Interaction program, participants help feed and train the dolphins. SeaWorld dolphin trainers will be on hand at all times to supervise and coach. During this section, photographers are available to take photographs of you interacting with the dolphins for an extra fee.
Reservations cancelled seven days or less before the date are nonrefundable; with 8 to 29 days half the amount is refunded; 30 to 44 days before, a $10 fee is assessed and the full amount of the reservation fee is returned; and over 45 days before, the full amount is refunded.
