Teens can explore the waters around Golden Gate Bridge by taking windsurfing lessons from the professional windsurfing and kitesurfing instructors at Boardsports School and Shop. Two-day beginner windsurfing lessons are available for teens ages 12 years and older, and include all windsurfing gear and wetsuit. The class teaches students how to get on the board, sail out, general safety protocol, and how to execute the high-wind stance. Take the GPS Behind the Scenes Tour at the San Francisco Zoo
