Deep Sea Fishing
Cancun offers plenty of deep sea fishing excursions. Many of these charters go out for the entire day, although you can also find trips that last just four hours. The waters off the coast of Cancun are brilliantly colored, allowing you to see the amazing collection of fish species that call this place home. The highlight of any deep sea fishing charter in Cancun, however, has to be either reeling in a magnificent sailfish yourself or watching as someone else does it. Other sporting fish often caught in these waters include blue marlin, tuna, shark, amberjack, and even the dangerous barracuda.

Swimming with Dolphins
Most dolphin swim excursions in Cancun will take groups of up to eight people. Begin your fascinating experience swimming alongside these intelligent mammals by watching a video that educates, informs and entertains. After the video you will dip into the water with a dolphin trainer who will answer your questions and further instruct you on how to properly interact with the animals. Remember, these dolphins are not trained performers, so pay attention to the video and the trainer to get the most out of your experience. Actual time spent with the dolphins is limited to around 15 to 20 minutes, so make the most of that brief time by knowing what to do and what not to do.
Snorkeling and Scuba
Once you leave, you just might look back on Cancun as the center of the world when it comes to snorkeling. Barring Australia, there is no better place to explore coral reefs than the Great Mesoamerican Reef, the biggest reef in the hemisphere. If you ever wanted to explore an amazing nine miles worth of interconnected, brilliantly colored coral, this is the place. Jettison the snorkel and pick up some scuba tanks so you explore the various shipwrecks that call the sandy bottom here home. Cancun's waters also offer caves and caverns for those who have experience with diving.
