Lake Kissimmee State Park

Lake Kissimmee State Park borders three of the many lakes in Polk county. Tiger Lake and Rosalie Lake border the park along with Kissimmee. The park's cowboy heritage comes alive with a living history demonstration of an 1876 cow camp. The park has 13 miles of trails around the three lakes.

Lake Kissimmee State Park has 60 RV sites--which can also be used by tent campers--with water and electricity. There is no sewer but there is a dump station. The park has primitive camping areas and a group camping area for up to 50 people. Showers and restrooms are available in the camping areas, and a park ranger station has a small store with some supplies.

Small waterways connect the three lakes and go through the park, making for scenic canoe rides. The park does not rent canoes. In addition to the hiking trails, six miles of equestrian trails run through the park.
