Fort Wilderness Campground & RV Park is located less then two miles east of Whittier, North Carolina. The campground has a semi-wooded landscape and enjoys views of the surrounding Smoky Mountains. It offers full and partial hookup campsites that include cable TV access, a picnic table and fire ring. Facility amenities include two bathhouses with private showers, a coin-operated guest laundry and camp store along with a banquet room and Sunday church service. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with patio seating area, a playground and arcade. Horseback riding is available on-site as well as a hiking trail that runs in the forestland around the campground.

Camp Hatteras RV Resort

Camp Hatters RV Resort is located in Rodanthe, North Carolina and is located on the Ocean and Sound. It offers full hookup campsites that include a concrete pad and patio, picnic table and fire ring along with cable TV and wireless Internet access. Facility amenities include a marina store, clubhouse and conference center along with modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include a miniature golf course, playground and three stocked fishing ponds. There are sandy beachfront swimming areas on both sides of the resort. Guests have miles of sandy beach to hike on and to the north; the beach leads to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, which has wooded hiking trails.

HTP Resort

HTP is an Oceanfront RV Resort located on Emerald Isle in North Carolina. It offers full and partial hookup sites as well as rustic sites for tent campers. Facility amenities include modern bathhouses with private showers, coin-operated laundry and oceanfront picnic pavilion as well as fully stocked camp store that includes groceries, camping supplies and wine market. Recreational amenities include a large outdoor pool with patio seating, a playground and game room as well as go-karts and a large sandy beach. The resort is less then two miles from the Croatan National Forest, which has forest and dune hiking trails.
