RVs can hookup to 30- or 50-amp electric connections, water and sewer, and enjoy WiFi and cable TV connections. Tent sites have picnic tables and fire rings. The resort has a swimming pool, a private beach where you can surf, snorkel and swim, guest house, laundry and showers. The resort looks out at Assateague Island National Seashore, where you can sea kayak or beach comb.

Buttonwood Beach RV Resort

Buttonwood Beach RV Resort offers transient space and seasonal camping spaces. Many campers return year after year to spend the summer lazing idly next the shore, and enjoy the resort's amenities. RV spaces have standard 30- or 50-am electric, water, sewer, cable TV and WiFi connections. Shower houses and bathrooms are available throughout the campground. Boaters and kayakers have access to dock launches and docks. Bird watchers can see wild turkeys, blue heron and other species throughout the resort.

Cherry Hill Park

If you want to stay at a campground resort near Washington D,C., the Cherry Hill Park claims to be the closest camping park to the nation's capital. RV sites have 30- or 50-amp electric hook-ups, water, sewer, cable TV and WiFi. Tenters are accommodated with level sites that feature fire rings and picnic tables. Amenities at the camping park include firewood and propane service, two swimming pools, a carpeted laundry room, an arcade and game room for the kids, free shuttles into D.C., and a nature trail for hikers.
