The Fat Cat Children's Festival is an annual festival that features hands-on stations, small theatrical performances and artistic activities. The Fat Cat Children's Festival is organized every year by the Children's Festival Society of Kelowna, which works to expose children to the arts. Parks Alive

Parks Alive brings family-centered musical performances, dancing, children's theater, singing and fun activities to Kelowna every week. The performances expose children to the arts in many ways. Parks Alive allows audience participation for some of its theatrical presentations. All of the Parks Alive events are free of charge, allowing all families the chance to come to the events, regardless of their income levels.
