New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment, and there are plenty of things to enchant you. Whether you like mountains with spectacular views, great caves or wide-open spaces of desert, New Mexico has it all. Campgrounds are spread throughout the state to meet your camping needs. There are many parks, wildlife areas, and hiking and biking trails for outdoor adventures.

Carlsbad KOA

All of the sites at the Carlsbad KOA are big, pull-through sites with 30- and 50-amp connections. Cable TV and WI-Fi are free. Some extra-large sites allow tent camping alongside RVs. Several cabins have fully furnished kitchens.

Nearby attractions include Carlsbad Caverns, the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens State Park, Sitting Bull Falls Recreation Area, Roswell's International UFO Museum and White Sands National Monument.

Los Campos de Santa Fe

Los Campos De Santa Fe offers the best of both the city and the wilderness. The campground is on the edge of the city, just four miles from the famous historic district. The campground has 95 RV sites, ranging from full hookups, to those with just water and electricity. There are 30- and 50-amp connections. Some sites are pull-through and some are back-in. There is no tent camping, but pop-ups are allowed. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a heated swimming pool and a pavilion.

Monte Verde RV Park & Campground

The campground has 28 RV sites with full hook-ups with 30- and 50-amp connections. Free Wi-Fi and TV are available. There are also six cabins and several tent sites. The cabins have basic amenities, including a microwave and refrigerator. Facilities include a bathhouse, restroom, picnic tables, fire pits, grills and horseshoe pits.

There is a lot to do around Angel Fire. Skiing in winter, fishing and golf in the summer, as well as hot-air balloon rides, mountain biking, trails, hunting and horseback riding.
