Calgary is located in the southeast corner of Alberta Province in Canada. There are a few RV parks in the area for those that like camping trips, and outdoor recreational opportunities abound in places like Banff National Park and Mt. Assinboine Provincial Park. If you don't mind traveling for a longer distance, you can make a side trip to the U.S, only four hours away.

Parkland RV Resort

Located in Alberta, Parkland RV Resort offers on-site amenities like laundry facilities, a camp store, bathhouses, propane service and a snack bar. Other features such as a playground, boat ramp and beaches provide you with the opportunity for a little outdoor recreation. There are 100, 36-ft. by 52-ft. sites available that come with full hookups and fire rings.

Calgary West Campground

Calgary West Campground offers many on-site benefits to make your stay more comfortable and convenient. Some of these include a camp store, dump station, fuel station, Wi-Fi, bathhouses and laundry room. Recreation is available in the form of an outdoor swimming pool, picnic sites, hiking and biking paths and a golf course. There are 120 full hookup sites, 120 partial hookup sites and 80 primitive sites available for camping. Electrical connections are either 20- or 30-amp. Pull-through sites are available.

Tall Timber Leisure Park

Tall Timber Leisure Park offers several benefits such as an events area with grills, propane sales, camp store, laundry facility and security. On-site recreational activities include swimming in the indoor pool, playing at one of the two playgrounds and kayaking on the Red Deer River. There are more than 60 RV sites available. All stays include water and electric connections. Only long-term stays of a month or more are offered sewer service.
