Sea of Cortez, Mexico RV Campgrounds
The Sea of Cortez separates mainland Mexico from the California Baja peninsula. It is a mecca for sun worshippers and outdoors enthusiasts. Sandy beaches and towering dunes line the shore, and water sports and outdoor activities abound. Snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and deep-sea fishing are popular. You can also join a desert safari. Restaurants, hotels, resorts and campgrounds are scattered along the coastline.
 

Playa Bonita RV Resort

This bustling, oceanfront RV resort is on Bonita Beach in Puerto Penasco, with direct access to the Sea of Cortez. The Playa Bonita Hotel Resort is adjacent to the campground. The park has 300 open RV sites with full hookups; some are set directly on the beach, others have water views. There's a recreation room, satellite TV hookups, camp store, guest laundry and bathhouse with hot showers on the property. Loreto Shores Villas and RV Park

This five-acre RV park is set directly on the shores of the Sea of Cortez in the town of Loreto. There are 36 pull-through RV sites with full hookups (with 30 amp electrical service) and Wi-Fi. Tent sites are also available. The property includes a clubhouse with a full-sized kitchen, bathrooms with hot showers, a camp store, an outdoor swimming pool and a guest laundry. There's also a fish-cleaning station. Campers can arrange for fishing charters and guided land excursions through the campground.

This large RV resort sits on the Sea of Cortez and has more than 200 sites. Most sites have full hookups, picnic tables and BBQ grills. There are also cabins and tent sites available. The property includes a heated swimming pool and whirlpool spa, a restaurant, a miniature golf course, playgrounds, sports fields and an outdoor amphitheater. There's also a convenience store and a guest laundry on site, along with a clubhouse with a large-screen TV, fireplace and pool table. Campers have views of Chariot Canyon.
