Hidden River Travel Resort is located two and a half miles east of Riverview and offers 300 RV sites with water, sewer and electrical hookups. Amenities include a heated swimming pool, horseshoes pits and a fishing pond. Hidden River Travel Resort offers direct access to the Alafia River. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate Hidden River's close proximity to Alafia River State Park, which is only twelve miles away, and offers fourteen miles of bike trails and twenty miles of hiking trails. Little Manatee River State Park

Little Manatee River State Park is located fifteen miles south of Riverview and features both RV and primitive tent camping facilities. The 34 RV sites feature water and electricity and each is equipped with a fire circle and picnic table. The primitive tent camp is located along a trail and requires a two and a half mile hike in. The tent camp can accommodate up to twelve people and a picnic table and fire ring are available. Canoes are available for rent within the park, and fishing for bass, bream and catfish is possible.

Hawaiian Isles RV Resort

The Hawaiian Isles RV Resort is located directly on Tampa Bay, twenty miles south of Riverview. Each RV site offers a concrete patio and 30-amp electrical service in addition to water and sewer hookups. Laundry facilities are available on site and amenities include a swimming pool, whirlpool tub and two recreation halls. Fishing is a popular recreation at Hawaiian Isles RV Resort; saltwater fishing on the bay, and freshwater fishing in the two canals that run through the park. Kayakers and canoeists will appreciate Terra Ceia Preserve State Park, which lies just ten miles down the road. The 1,932 acre park is a collection of freshwater creeks, karst tidal ponds and estuarine marshes which offer diverse opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing
