Houston Leisure RV Resort is located 4 miles east of Channelview, and features both RV and tent sites. Water, sewer and up to 50-amp electrical service are available as are pull-through sites for large RVs. A convenience store, propane sales and laundry facilities are available on site, and WiFi is available for an extra fee. Just across Burnet Bay from the Houston Leisure RV Resort is San Jacinto State Park. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the park's marsh restoration site and boardwalk, a 1,210-foot-long trail that allows visitors to view a tidal marsh.

San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park

San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park features 200 RV sites on 33 acres of land along the San Jacinto River. All sites are on concrete pads for RV stability, and all are pull-through sites to accommodate large RVs. Full utility hookups are available, and cable TV is free. Showers, laundry facilities are available on site. Amenities include a swimming pool, recreation room and exercise room. Campers looking for outdoor recreation are advised to drive 8 miles north to Sheldon Lake State Park. The 2,800 outdoor education and recreation area features fishing and wildlife viewing

Pine Lakes RV Park

Pine Lakes RV Park features RV sites with concrete patios. Each site includes water sewer and 20-, 30- and 50-amp electrical service. There is a picnic table at each site and both garbage collection and basic cable TV are included in the daily rate. Laundry facilities are available on site, and the park includes well-stocked fishing ponds for anglers. Boaters visiting Pine Lakes RV Park might want to visit Atkinson Island Wildlife Management Area. Access to the island is available only by boat, and the island is being used to study wetlands restoration projects. Wildlife on the island include shore and wading birds, raccoons and rattlesnakes.
